Set up by three design enthusiasts from Sweden, Finland and Denmark, Skandium is not to be confused with cheaper Ikea design as it offers exclusive products by the likes of Asplund, Havi, Kähler, Le Klint and Muuto. Well positioned in exclusive Marylebone and Brompton, Skandium’s large and brightly lit stores (and Selfridges concession) offer a delicate balance of traditional meets modernist. Mixing chrome, glasss, leather and textiles the stores themselves are a great inspiration with their room by room homage to Scandinavian living

As well as showcasing the latest designs from the finest Scandinavian designers, Skandium offers its own interior design service. Working to combine Scandinavian design with practical British living, Chrystina Schmidt the creative director behind the brand has a wonderful talent for combining colourful and intricately patterned accessories with unusual furniture and a hint of classic chrome.
